Built in 1942, Model 40, Serial #1835, for Defense Plant Corporation #2 to be used as a switcher. The unit was then sold to American Steel Foundry #51, later it was obtained by Lipsett Steel Foundries, followed by Calumet Steel, and was then donated to the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in Indiana.
The Little Railroad acquired this unit in 2022.
This is a unique unit being one of only eleven prototypes built by EMC before they were purchased and the name was changed to EMD-GE. Currently only nine of theses units are left with the others being scrapped over the years. Nicknamed "critters", these units are powered by twin General Motors Detroit Diesel 6-71 diesel engines, which produce a combined 300 horsepower. It's drivetrain is unusual because the two diesel engines are used to drive the electric DC generator from both sides, one with clockwise rotation and the other with counter-clockwise rotation.
Built in 1941 as Army #7078, Serial #13052, for the Kingsbury Ordinance Plant in Indiana.
Following its’ service at the ordinance plant, this unit became the only GE 45 ton unit used by Amtrak. The unit was eventually sold to Ohio Sheet Steel and Plate and used as a switcher.
The Little Railroad acquired this unit in 2021.

Built in 1944 as US Navy 65-00036, Serial #27812, for the Naval Ammunition Depot in Hawthorne, NV. Following its’ service at the Ammunition Depot, this unit was used at the Esab Welding Plant.

There are three of these cabooses with one being modified into a passenger car by a former attraction located in Indiana. The other two still need to be converted.
